A Foresight Workshop on Nature-based Solution and Transformative Change. NatureScape Invited to Join a Foresight Workshop on Nature-based Solutions in Oslo.

25 – 26 February 2025 – Oslo, Norway

The coordinators of the NatureScape project, along with thirty-three other project groups, are invited to attend the Foresight Workshop on Nature-based Solutions (NBS) and Transformative Change (TC). This important event, co-funded by the European Union, will be held on February 25-26, 2025, in Oslo, Norway, and is organized by Biodiversa+ with support from UNEP-WCMC.

The workshop will focus on identifying new research areas and advancing the integration of NBS with TC. The goal is to leverage NBS to enhance environmental and societal well-being in line with the global vision of the 2050 Convention on Biological Diversity.

During the workshop, participants will discuss how to effectively implement changes in their fields, aiming to shift current practices and achieve sustainable goals. The insights from these discussions will help update Biodiversa+’s Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda and improve coordination between major programs like BiodivNbS and BiodivTransform.
